Last week I lost ALL of my Libraries while using Illustrator and today CC pushed an update and none of my Apps will open ( I tried both CC as well as opening manually)
What the heck is going on? I lost 3 weeks of work and now I cannot even start rebuilding it

Hi!
Thanks for that but I had already done those steps to no avail.... After much time scouring for answers ( Adobe support was not at all helpful and actually wasted much time to no avail) I was able to connect a few dots and identify the problem and correct it.
My trouble began after installing Acrobat DC and even once it was completely uninstalled with all residual files deleted I was still having the issues. I repaired and reinstalled the the dlls etc but the problem still persisted. I finally realized reinstalling CC 2 that upon install it would immediately update (normal) yet the dlls installing were the issue and were then causing the wrong order of install... Finally said screw it and completely uninstalled ALL of them again and reinstalled manually to the correct locations in the correct order.... It appears that the C++ 2013 was what kept mucking up the whole issue and they kept popping up like a bad penny ...
I appreciate your help and I have learned more than I ever intended to know... I am just stoked that I can actually get my work done today

Hi!
I finally was able to remedy the VCRuntime error after thoroughly uninstalling all remnants of Illustrator, Creative Cloud and Photoshop.. I am very inclined to think it had something to do with the Acrobat install as it started almost immediately.
The bummer is half of my cloud library disappeared completely - I went through every file prior to cleaning and reinstalling.
After reinstalling and finally getting some work done Photoshop updated and crashed about 6 or 7 times per day. I never had this issue and have changed nothing on my system or preferences.. Adobe CC is either my best friend or worst enemy lol...
I see fro the forums several users are experiencing the crashing so I think I will once again go back to an earlier version in order
to get my ever growing pile of work
