Yes, subject to payment of the cancellation fee which is 50% of the remaining contract. So if you cancel after six months you would be charged for a further three months.

The monthly plan only costs a rip off price and it's very easy to get into the pay monthly 1 year plan with its outrageous cancellation terms. Nothing but greed shame on you Adobe!

Not really. The Monthly option is more expensive but certainly has its place.

Back before Creative Cloud, if you wanted to use (say) Premiere Pro to cut a video project and only needed the software for a three-month job, you still had to buy the full product for $799.

Now, instead, anyone can use the latest version of the product short-term for $31.49/month – basically $1/day – and expense the cost if necessary/possible.

Or, with the Annual plan, the cancellation fee offets the flexibility of the Monthly plan by granting a lower price ($20.99) when 12 months are purchased at once.

The breakeven point of which to select is at the six-month mark:

Creative Cloud Annual vs. Monthly Plan: Which Should You Choose?

In both cases, ongoing upgrades are included.
