Anywhere at all to get lightroom 6 still

Hi all

I didn't realise that Lightroom was going to be discontinued and waited too long before trying to buy off Amazon!

Now having also tied carries who are just sitting on the order of the technical problem I seem to be at a dead end has anyone got anywhere that you can actually still get Lightroom 6? Seems insane that Adobe would cut this off and Force users to subscribe or use other means :s

Thanks but unfortunately that partner list seems not overly helpful as much as they have 0 resellers listed in the retail category, and then extending to Commercial the seemingly endless list contains links to businesses that after having visited countless links from that late not a single one seems to have any actual online retail presence at all which is very bizarre.

Any particular reason that you want to buy LR6, even if you could which seems highly unlikely?

It's old, outdated software whose last ever update was in Dec 2017. There will be no further updates,

Because it would suit my needs and doesn't entail paying infinitely more

for infinitely long to rent it. Why I want to buy it wasn't the question.

However, this current line of enquiry is unlikely to lead anywhere so maybe we can help you in a different direction. There are other options on the market other than buying discontinued, outdated software which will never be updated.

I wasn't suggesting getting the Cloud version of Lightroom. You don't like sound subscriptions interest you.

I was more thinking about pointing you in a more fruitful direction of other pay-once, non-Adobe software which is being actively developed.

If Photoshop Elements doesn't interest you, what exactly are you looking for assuming LR6 is not going to happen?

NB I have been contacted by PM or email . something thorugh adobe forums though but not visible within the post ..  so assumed it was legit as didn't think PMs to anyone were allowed).
