Authorizing a new computer for Creative Cloud which was setup with migration assistant

I recently upgraded to a new (refurb), iMac and used a Time-Machine backup from my old and barely working iMac. The new one also has been upgraded to Catalina. Creative Cloud is still at the top menu bar, but it shows me as being "signed out" (I previously had it set up to auto-sign-in). Every time I try to click the sign-in button, it won't go past the retry screen. I'm thinking I need to de-authorize the old iMac somehow, but the Creative Cloud app on the old one was not working and that was part of why I upgraded my desktop system (I still have my laptop to use Creative Cloud).
