I am trying to install Bridge CC on an iMac running OS 10.15.2 with 8GB memory and 1TB hard drive (over 900 GB left). The installer hits 10% installed and freezes. I have tried deleting and re-downloading the installer but the issue repeats. Any ideas?

My first suggestion would be to try installing while booted in Safe Mode. Hold the shift key during startup, until you get the Apple logo. This allows you to boot up, without many of your background processes getting in the way.
Warning, this startup may take a LOOOONG time. It's doing a lot of cleanup on startup, and if it's not been done before, it has a lot of work to do.
If you give up on the wait, you can always do a manual restart with your regular start button.
Starting in Safe Mode occasionally, is a good maintenance behavior, anyway.
Dont forget to restart normally, after doing the install
hope that works!

Thanks for the suggestion, but no go. My Mac only took about a minute or two to boot in safe mode. I ran the Bridge installer and it took about 2 or 3 minutes to get to 10% installed and then nothing more. I gave up after 15 more minutes without a change in the percentage installed or the estimated time remaining.
I even tried downloading the .dmg installer file again and re-running it. This time it froze on 9.9% for about 5 minutes, then hit 10% and stopped.
Does anyone else have a suggestion?
This is very frustrating as I want to be able to use Bridge and I really liked the version of Bridge that came with Photoshop which I had purchased years ago but now that Apple has gone to 64 bit only on their OS, it doesn't work.
Is there some way to contact Adobe for help?

Seems odd to reply to my own post, but I found the answer on another thread (Photoshop installation fail on a Mac from user malay.p97984101 on Oct 5, 2016). The answer was posted by brucgovn https://community.adobe.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/8897402
and he described how to delete all the hidden files on a Mac from previous Adobe products.
Fantastic, and thanks to brucgovn!
