it's not needed for other versions to operate so if you don't need it, properly uninstall it.  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

if you are trying to unsintall just a single application, you can manually uninstall the app from the creative cloud desktop application.

 

If you are trying to uninstall multiple apps from multiple machines, you can then refer the Kb below

If you no longer need that version, yes.  You may uninstall via your Creative Cloud Dektop App.

 

I have plenty of HD space so I typically keep older versions until I'm certain I will never need them again.  Owing to the 2 version policy, it's nearly impossible to get older versions back once they're removed.
