So I uploaded a few images and can view the preview fine.

https://portfolio.adobe.com/8861ff2c-2858-40e4-8056-eb13da472824/preview/work

Then click to update the live site which it appears to do

But when I click the site link (or view live site)

https://sarahhorsman.myportfolio.com

it goes to https://portfolio.adobe.com/missing

I've unintentionally deleted the site (although don't quite know what that means I've deleted) and don't know how to recreate it.

Anyone help dig me out of the hole? Thanks in anticipation.

Do you have a paid Creative Cloud plan?   Try using a different device or browser that does not have script blockers.   Log-in with your paid Adobe ID and password at the link below.

https://portfolio.adobe.com/

  1. Select a layout Theme.
  2. Create a new project page.
  3. Add an image or two and some text.
  4. Upload a cover image that will link to that project page.
  5. Repeat with other project pages.
  6. Hit the Publish Site button.

It may take a few moments for the site to publish the first time.  After which you should be  given a link to the Live site.
