Can't find Adobe XD app to download to desktop (mac) even though I meet the requirements.

I've been trying to download Adobe XD for class, again considering I managed to first time round and now it suddenly disappeared, but I can't seem to even find the download on creative cloud. What have I done or doing wrong? How do I get the app now, my classes start soon.

No I don't. Figured I didn't need one since they told me I don't need to purchase creative cloud to use XD. is that why I can't get it?

Oh no! You're kidding me! Lol, I'm just gonna have to email my institution about this then and see what they can get sorted, otherwise paying for creative cloud it is, just for one app 🤦‍:female_sign:. Just my luck. Thank for you're help though, much appreciated.

btw, a lot of us are mystified by this post and why there was no warning or alert.  there are a lot of open questions pending about this.

I know, no warning at all. Crazy how they could 'gatekeep' such an essential and useful tool for ux/ui designers and students.

Just speculation but I'm betting donuts to donut holes this has something to do with the Figma deal.

Ohh! So, they're looking to buy figma. Makes sense, but a little information from them would've been helpful lol.

Adobe won't discuss it until the deal is approved which hasn't happened yet.

You need to be logged-in to a paid Creative Cloud subscription to access XD. 

Ensure that your individual acccount is active and payment details are current.

If the plan is provided by your school, contact your school's IT dept for assistance.  They will need to grant you access to the School's Plan with proper ID and password.

That makes sense. I've emailed my school about this and will see what they have to say, they might have a plan for us to use.

Hi All,

Adobe XD is no longer available for purchase as a single application but will continue to be supported for existing users. XD will continue to be available as part of our Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps subscription. We will continue to support existing Adobe XD customers.
