Can't uninstall Abode Photoshop

Why is it that uninstalling Adobe photoshop requires you to login to the account first? I had to go through the entire shenanigan of resetting a password for a service I'm not going to use again. Even after doing that, when I went to uninstall it from the control panel, it started "updating" the software instead of uninstalling it. I thought Adobe was a reputed company, why pull such scammy moves?

Hussains16783080, sorry you have faced difficulties with the removal of the Creative Cloud applications from the computer.  Did you initially install the software or how did the Adobe Creative Cloud software originally get installed on the computer?

When you were removing the software were you using the process listed in Uninstall or remove Creative Cloud apps to remove the installed applications?  If so, what software was updating?  Was it the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application itself that
