System Information:

  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
  • System Name: MELIHS-PC
  • System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
  • System Model: Z370 AORUS ULTRA GAMING 2.0
  • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz
  • Installed Physical Memory (RAM): 32.0 GB
  • Time Zone: Central European Summer Time

Problem: I uninstalled all Adobe programs to free up disk space. When attempting to reinstall them, the installer doesn't even start. When I try to execute the installation file (both normally and as an administrator), nothing happens. No window opens, and there is no error message.

Error Report: The crash report indicates that the fault lies in Creative_Cloud_Set-Up.exe. The exception code is c0000005.

What I've Already Tried:

  1. Adobe Uninstaller: First, I tried to repair the software via Adobe Uninstaller. When that failed, I tried to uninstall it. Both attempts led to an error, but no error code was displayed.
  2. Adobe CCleaner: I went through all the options of Adobe CCleaner, but the problem persisted.
  3. Manual Deletion: I manually deleted all Adobe folders as recommended in various forum posts.
  4. PC Restart: I restarted my PC multiple times to ensure that this was not the issue.
  5. Registry Keys: I manually deleted all Adobe and Creative Cloud-related registry keys and restarted the PC again.

Despite all these steps, the problem remains. I've really tried everything and am now at a loss. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this issue?

you're probably going to need to back up your data, reformat your hard drive, and then install the cc desktop app etc.
