CC App versions vs year dates

Hello all. Despite repeated web searching, I can't seem to pin down CC version numbers. Our service provider says the latest version of CC they can handle is CC2018 and to avoid 2019. Some of our other apps and plug-ins also use "year dates" to indicate compatibility. (I'm also concerned about OS compatibility, as we have some new laptops arriving with Mojave, while others have High Sierra.)

When I look on the Mac hard drives, it has "2017" right on the application folders, so that is apparently what we have now. But when I look in the CC app, it says we have the following available:

Illustrator CC v 23.0.2, and under Update> Manage versions:  23.0.1, 23.0, 22.1, 20.1.0 (on this last entry is actually shows 2015.3)... and older versions.

Photoshop CC 20.0.3, and under Update>Manage versions: 20.0.2, 20.0.1, 20.0, 19.1.7, 18.1.6 (on this last entry it actually shows 2017)... and older versions.

InDesign CC 14.0.1, and under Update>Manage versions: 14.0, 13.1, 11.0 (on this last entry it actually shows (2015)... and older versions.

Questions:

1) I don't know which ones we should install and which to avoid in order to stay within "CC2018". Is there a cross reference somewhere that "translates" all these version numbers into "year numbers"?

2) I found this Adobe site that indicates the "latest" Adobe products are compatible with Mojave, but doesn't list version or year date! The only date is the posting date: October 24, 2018. (Other links within this posting also show October 2018).  Is that the "latest", and which version is that?

Thanks.
