I'm sorry, Markus, but the files needed to complete the installation must be placed on the same drive as the operating system. Please free up additional space on the C: drive to allow the update to be completed.

I recommend focusing on music, videos, or other large files that can be moved on the E: drive to free up space for the operating system and Adobe updates. ^JW

ie, while the cc desktop app has to be installed on the os drive, you can use its preferences to install apps (eg, after effects) on other drives (eg, an adobe folder on E:)

Markus, the error message means what it says, the files you are trying to delete are in use by another application or program. Try rebooting the computer and then try emptying the recycle bin again.

If the files are still in use, move them out of the recycle bin, one or two at a time, until you can successfully empty the bin.

if you're seeing that when trying to uninstall a closed app, restart your computer and retry uninstalling.
