Computer hangs after installing Adobe CC

Community Beginner ,

Hi,

My Samsung laptop is less than 1 year from purchase.  It's been very fast and a great machine...up until I installed Adobe CC.

Ever since I installed Adobe CC and Photoshop, every couple of minutes the mouse clicks don't react for a good 30 to 60 seconds, sometimes even causing the Windows 10 blue circle to indicate that the computer is "processing" a task.  This occurs without Photoshop even being open and even with only just a few browser tabs opened.

I uninstalled Photoshop.  Then uninstalled Adobe CC with the official uninstaller program.

My brand new computer is still stalling on simple tasks--and, despite having "uninstalled" Adobe CC, I still see the folder in windows explorer called "Adobe CC Files".

Please help!  I want my machine to work fast again--I'm losing precious time at work whenever the computer hangs for these basic tasks!

Thanks!!

DId you use also the CC Cleaner program (from Adobe, not the freemium one): Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

I didn't use it because the problems it was described as resolving did not seem relevant to my issue.

I'll give it a try anyway and let you know the result.  Thanks Abambo.

CC Cleaner removes any leftovers from CC installs. so if you think your problems are caused because of the CC installation, you should try it. If the problems persist they are not caused by CC but a different event that just by chance happend the same time.
