with the new 40% off offer...
if i click to sign up from the home home page it takes me (on a mobile) to the £30/m offer.
in the terms it says the subscription will renew at the subscription rate, making it sound like it’ll continue at £30/m for a further 12 months.
However, if I click further down to view all subscriptions, then chevk the terms, it says there it will renew at the standard £49 price.
I would guess the second is the most likely!
You need to contact Contact Customer Care on this!
It would be nice, however, to point out what "new 40% offer" you mean. Please post a screenshot with the URL.

This is a special offer for one year! It will continue after the first year at the then standard rate, except if at that time you get a special renewal offer. These are standard marketing tricks to get you into the boat. It's easier to start with a lower price and see if it's worth. You can, however, cancel at the end of your term and you will not get renewed at the higher price.

Thanks, I thought so, I’ll consider carefully before leaving cs6.
for anyone else reading this be aware the following terms do mean renewal at the standard rate even though it sounds otherwise!
”Your contract will renew automatically, on your annual renewal date, until you cancel. Renewal rates are subject to change, but you will be notified of any change in your rate with the option to cancel”

Yes, you are one of the rare people reading this beforehand.
You are free to change. If you have a CS6 license be sure to keep the serial number safe, if you want to return. As CS6 is part of the Cloud, CC tends to take that over during your CC subscription. You will, however, keep the right to use your perpetual license.
