Creative Cloud Desktop App (Mac) is not loading

I upgraded to Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.1 a while a go and the CC Desktop App started to turn unresponsive. Now I'm unable to sync my photos between Lightroom on Mac and iPad, as I couldn't sign into my account in Lightroom CC.

This is what the icon looks like in the menubar (grey means I'm not signed in):

And when I clicked onto it, the window looks like this:

I assume this means it's loading, but this process should normally only take a few seconds, but it's taking hours and days on my Mac. I have been using Google's DNS (8.8.8.8) on my network because my location is prone to DNS pollution. I did try reverting to my default DNS but it didn't change the response. Any ideas and instructions would be helpful, thanks!

Hi KanikaS,

I'm having a similar problem, since changing adobe accounts on my computer I cannot log in. I have tried all three threads and other trouble shooting recommendations from Adobe such as:

uninstalling, repairing the creative cloud,  restarting and rebooting the computer, updating the Mac ox s, typing the suggested codes in the utility terminal, running first aid on all disks. Still no luck logging in.

Any suggestions? Is there a phone number where I can speak directly with tech support?

thank you!
