Creative Cloud İnstalling On C

New Here ,
Nov 25, 2025 Nov 25, 2025

I do NOT want to install Creative Cloud on my C there literally is no space on C! Paying so much money for a program and not being able to choose the drive I install it on is not acceptable. Either make this happen or refund my money back.

Hi @Lively_MoonB839,

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear about the inconvenience.

At the moment, the Creative Cloud desktop application itself must be installed on the system drive. This location cannot be changed. However, you can choose a different drive for installing all Creative Cloud apps (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).

To change the install location for your apps:

Open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Select the Account icon (your profile picture) and go to Preferences.

Go to the Apps section.

Under Install Location, select the drive where you want the apps to be installed.

After updating this setting, all future app installations will go to the drive you selected. Check this doc for more info: https://adobe.ly/4rj5k2k

If your C: drive does not have enough space even for the Creative Cloud desktop application, you may need temporary space during the installation process, as the installer also requires some disk space to run.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
^AN

You should install a larger C drive, as you may run into issues even with apps installed on another drive.

There needs to be sufficient free space for temp and system files.

What size, how full, and what kind of drives do you have?
