My mac has PS CS5.1 and AI CS5.1, which had crashed all the time in the past, but couldn't find a rememdy for it, now with the new catalina update, my PS, AI, and creative cloud launcher can't be used with the done-away-with-32-bit thing. I need to know if theres a way to get the working version of those applications or do I have to actually repurchase those programs all over again. I'm a student, I don't have a lot of money or time, so I need to know if theres a cost-effective fix to this. I see lots of sources saying that I'd have to update through the creative cloud launcher, which sounds like the right move but I have zero access to that also.

Alternatively, forget about Catalina for now and downgrade back to Mojave:

Then reinstall CS5 with your discs and serial number.

Operation guarantee of CS5 was up to OS X 10.8.
Apple's OS is an OS that does not consider compatibility with older applications, so updating the OS requires updating the application at the same time.
