Hi all,

Hope this is the right place for this type of support.

There are 2 problems with my current installation of CC: updating it, per the in-app notification, results in the VC error mentioned above (VC 2017 x86). Possibly related, PS CC which is installed and functioning properly lists as uninstalled.

I'm using win7.

Any help?

Hi Josh,

Thanks for the help 🙂

I tried the reinsatlling VC per your suggestion. It didn't install due to missing old packages, similarily to CC. However, I was able to resolve it with this solution. With the latest VC installed, updating CC still presented errors looking for old VC packages, twice, but managed to skip past them and finish the update. I hope the link above might help anyone in the future as this seems to be a prevalant issue (in my case, seemingly the result of erasing the missing packages).

Still withstanding is the other issue I mentioned, though. Photoshop is listed as uninstalled, giving me the option to install and not update. I had hoped that this would be resolved by updating CC, but alas. Any help in this regard?
