Hi everyone,
My IMac was recently wiped clean and on trying to reinstall Creative Suite 6 Design Standard via disc, I get a message about 'install needs to be updated by developer'?? Can anyone offer any help as I'm finding Adobe very difficult to contact? I do not have the download version in my account. Screenshot below of exact message:
Any and all help greatly appreciated.
Best Regards
Sarah

CS6 is from 2012 and it will NOT be updated to work with new Mac operating systems
Apple did not maintain backward compatibility, so try this to install old programs

Apple made major changes to its operating systems between Mojave and Catalina. The one affecting you is that they dropped all support for 32 bit software.
Your CS6 includes a 32 bit installer so it will not run on Catalina or Big Sur - hence the error message in your screenshot that the "Install.app" component needs to be updated. Therefore, you cannot install CS6.
Adobe will not be updating CS6 at all since it is almost 10 years old and long superseded by the Creative Cloud.
That leaves you with a few options:

1 - ask in an Apple group
2 - I do NOT know if these revert to older links will work with BS
