CS5 for Education download

New Here ,
Dec 11, 2019 Dec 11, 2019

I purchase Photoshop CS5 Extended and although it is listed as a registered product on m account, I cannot find the download link in the order tab.  Also, the links in the answer above no longer work, they redirect to a cloud page.  Where do I find the Photoshop cs5 extended download link?  I had to reimage my PC due to problems and need to reinstall it.

Branching to a new discussion.

Peter, I am showing that you have an education version of Photoshop CS5 Extended for Windows registered under your account. Please use the installation files that were provided with your purchase if you wish to reinstall Photoshop CS5.  The retail files that were previously available will not work with your serial number.  For more information on how to review your registered software titles see https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/find-serial-number.html.

For anyone else reading this... every time you purchase a program via download, you need to copy that download to a USB flash drive or an external hard drive... or both... along with a text file containing your serial number(s)

Great point, John!

Also, the Education license for Creative Suite is a bit different from retail purchases.  Education licenses were greatly discounted, often below the cost to upgrade to a new version of the Creative Suite, and were tied to special installation files.  These files were either offered on CD/DVD or provided by a download link from the educational institution.

The cost and special installation files also meant that education licenses were not a valid upgrade path for a new version of a suite or software title.  Once an individual no longer attended or worked for an accredited educational institution, then the expectation was they would either purchase their own full version retail license or be provided one by their employer.  For more information on this see https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-serial-number-qualifying-product.html.

In addition please see https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/education-faq.html for information on how to purchase a discounted Creative Cloud membership, if you are attending or working for an accredited educational institution.
