I have a copy of CS5, and it's erroring and telling me i need to reinstall it on my macbook... I don't have a CD port, so i need to do a download, but the link I had last time I installed it isn't working. I have a serial number for the purchased software, but can't find a link to get even the trial version, that i could enter my serial number in to register. Any help appreciated, thanks!

Option 1 - buy a $20 external DVD drive
Option 2 - Program installers https://www.adobe.com/gr_en/downloads/other-downloads.html
If you are not able to find your program installer at 'other-downloads' read below
.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The process below WILL NOT WORK if you have a (CS6 or earlier) serial number for an education or volume version, since the only downloads now available are the retail installers, which DO NOT work with an education or volume serial number
.
Go to https://www.adobe.com/about-adobe/contact.html
-click on the Chat bot on the bottom right hand corner of the first screen
--the chat bot is the circle with a funny looking box with 3 dots inside
-click on Downloading or Installing, then type Agent
.
Do NOT let the support agent tell you to come to the forums for help... no user in a public forum has access to Adobe's internal links, you MUST obtain the program and update links from Adobe support
.
AND when you finally do have a download link, be sure to copy every file you download to an external drive (or 2 or 3) so you never have to hunt for download links if they are moved again... also make a text file containing ALL of your serial numbers and copy that file as well

I followed the link provided in step 2, clicked on CS5, and went to the "Creative Suite and Lightroom" subcategory on the following page, and clicked on "Reinstall older apps".
https://helpx.adobe.com/gr_en/download-install/kb/downloaded-older-app.html
The instructions call for you to log into your account, and click on the "Plans" tab at the top of your home page. Then you should click on "Order History", and find your original purchase and click on "Downloads and Serial Number".... well, my purchase isn't showing up in my order history, HOWEVER my serial number and the CS5 I purchased IS showing up in the "My Products" link, as a registered product. There is NOT however, any links from that registration category that i can follow to find the download anywhere. The instructions also say, if you purchased the suite through a third party (like a best buy, or fry's, etc. as in my case) to contact Support for further assistence. Aside from buying a new external disk reader, what are my options from here? (I've had this laptop for a few years now, and when i installed this last time using the download link instead of the CD-Rom, i'm not even sure if i could find the original software CD's anymore, assuming that from this point on it would all have to be done online. If that's my only option though, i can turn my office upside down)

Below are direct downloads for CS5. But please follow the VERY IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS on that page. Otherwise, you will get an "access denied" error.
