I have a valid serial number for Adobe CS6 Design and Web Premium, and I know it's valid because I recently went through a support case with Adobe Genuine to have it confirmed valid. To my knowledge, it is not installed on any other devices, but there is a chance that it was not deactivated on some old laptops before they were wiped.
I reinstalled it on my current laptop (and I made sure to deactivate it on my current laptop before uninstallation) because even after having the serial number validated by the Adobe Genuine team, I was still getting pesky "This serial number is invalid and your software has been disabled" messages from Adobe Genuine on my laptop. However, now it is telling me that I have reached the activation limit of two devices and need to deactivate the installation on another device before I can use it on this one. That can't be right, because there are no other devices except this one.
I am unable to get in touch with an actual Adobe agent via the chat tool, and I cannot find a support phone number anywhere. The Adobe virtual agent is useless and will not recognize that I have possession of any Adobe products. It just keeps telling me that I haven't purchased anything from Adobe (untrue) and so it cannot direct me to an agent.
Is there anything I can do? I can provide my serial number and the case number with the Adobe Genuine team where they confirmed my serial number was valid and active if needed.

there's no adobe support for cs6 and there's no work-around that activation limit issue other than deactivating from a computer that conveys that deactivation to adobe's servers. ie, that "convey" is the issue for you.

I was afraid this might be the case. Is there no way of contacting Adobe to confirm that my most recent deactivation on my current laptop, when I was uninstalling and reinstalling CS6, conveyed properly? I think that might be the issue.

you can contact support, but they can't access the deactivation servers.
you can check your own account, but that's usually unhelpful, https://account.adobe.com

If you can't de-activate prior installations, you've reached the end of the road with CS6. Sorry.
Nobody in this user-to-user community or Adobe Customer Support can help you with 12+ year old software. It's way beyond its "replace me" date.
