CS6 in trial mode when used with Creative Cloud

I've got multiple computers running Adobe Creative Cloud and want to use it in tandem with fully licenced versions of CS6 due to some plugins and additional software that only works with CS6.

We've had CS6 installed for years on the computers and then as soon as you install Adobe CC, the CS6 versions revert to trial mode.  I've tried doing the fix mentioned in this post

But it doesn't work to fix the problem.   And Adobe Application Manager has been depricated.

Does anyone know how to get the CS 6 applications, especially Acrobat X working correctly?

Dedicate one of your machines to Creative Suite only. As soon as you install CC Desktop app, it will take over.  So this is probably your only path to satisfaction.

Wipe off old Creative Cloud and Creative Suite files with the Adobe Cleaner Tool..  Re-install CS6.
