Hi All
I am migrating from an increasingly unstable PC to a new one and wish to deactivate my old programs.
I currently have the CS4 Collection suite and Photoshop CS6 installed, they may be getting old but they do all I require as I am not a commercial user.
When I try to deactivate the programs I get they usual message about not being able to connect. I have turned off the Firewall, I don't use a Proxy and I can connect to the internet just fine. I have tried going into my Adobe account online and none of my Programs are listed as associated with my account so I can't log out of them there.
Has anybody got any ideas on how to deactivate them so I can get shot of the old PC. I have managed to get all my programs working on the new PC but I want to be able to install them on my laptop as well, obviously this would exceed the number of allowed activations if I can't deactivate the old PC.
When you can't deactivate a serial number
BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT
You may need to PERSIST or TRY AGAIN to find a support agent with more experience
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
-make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
-you must also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for this to work

Hi John
Thanks for the help I have now solved my problem. Also thanks for the warning about responding to private messages. I got one that wanted me to paste a link in my browser to be taken to a support team, I'm not that daft. Possibly it was genuine but the chances are much higher I would have been on a phising trip.
