Do I have to pay two plans if I upgrade my Adobe CC before it's expired?

I've been on the Photography plan for a month now, but want to upgrade to the All Apps plan with my student discount. If I do this, will I still have to pay for my monthly Photography plan as well, or will I just have to pay for the new plan?
