Does After Effects charge you during the free trial?

I'm not talking about the one where if you install Creative Cloud, you can get a free trial. I'm talking about the one where you input your credit card/PayPal on the website and you get access for 7 days.

Not if you cancel before or when the trial ends.  If you don't cancel, it will automatically enroll you in a subscription.
