Hi,
If I upgrade my PC from windows 7 to Windows 10, how likely is it that my Adobe Design Premium CS4 software will continue to work?
Appreciate any information

Hi
You can take a look at this thread, people have it working on Windows 10 but that's not to say that you won't run into issues

Before you upgrade to Win10,
1. De-activate CS4 on Win7.
2. Uninstall CS4 and use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove old system files.

3. Have your CS4 serial number and installation disks ready to re-install on top of Win10.

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10
-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window
-and/or select Run as Administrator to assign FULL Windows permissions

Also, while not CS4, I have Acrobat Pro from CS5 that I installed on an earlier Windows... when I used the free upgrade from Microsoft I did not de-activate and reinstall, I simply let Win10 take care of the upgrade... and Acrobat still works

"Licensing for this software has stopped" is a common occurrence with Creative Suite after an OS upgrade. For best results, wipe files with the Cleaner Tool followed by a clean install on the new OS.
