Does Lightroom app hold catalogue and collections if we upgraded is to bigsur in mac

If I upgrade Mac OS to BigSur, what happens to my current catalogues and collections in Lightroom? Can I get them back on Lightroom OS upgrade ? Please help me in understanding this
