Doesn't open Creative Cloud

My creative cloud doesn't open it says "loading takes unusually long". Nothing happens, no reinstall helps, no reboot helps. What's wrong? And why do I even need that Creative Cloud when all I want to have is Photoshop on my PC?

first, reset the cc app:

to reset the cc desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, try to repair

if that fails go ahead and uninstall/reinstall per the above link

if that fails, do a clean cc install following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninst

Hi @kglad ,

 

It works now. I had reinstalled the app multiple times before making this post so I skipped straight to the link you posted on the bottom of you answer. When I used https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html (which seems to download a different executable somehow) it worked.
