Dreamweaver CC install stuck at 4%

Advisor ,

No problems installing/updating PhotoShop and Illustrator, and Illustrator was working fine this morning … but trying to install Dreamweaver (after closing all CC apps) has been stuck at 4% for twenty minutes now. Are there any known issues/workarounds? sometimes a progress bar isn't quite enough information.

Thanks in advance for any hints or advice.

FieryPantonem, do you receive any error messages while attempting to install Dreamweaver CC?  You can find the error messages recorded within the Install log.  For information on how to interpret the install log can be found at Creative Cloud download and install errors .

I look forward to your update to this public forum discussion, FieryPantone.

Thanks for the tip! there is no log file for Dreamweaver, so perhaps the install hasn't officially failed yet :-} I've started again earlier in the day, in case it's something as silly as network access: installation is currently at 62%, so fingers crossed …
