Dreamweaver CS6/CC crashes while starting (initializing files), reinstalled,...

Hey there,

I own the Dreamweaver CC & CS6. CS6 worked. Then installed the CC App, deinstalled DW CS6 and installed DW CC. Dreamweaver CC crashes while "initializing files" (i dont even see the main menu). Now i deinstalled CC and installed the CS6 version which crashes too now!

Please help me! Thanks.

reset your preferences by holding down shift-cmd-alt (mac) or shift-ctrl-alt (win) while starting dw.  you'll see a confirmation dialog if done correctly.

CS6: nothing but it worked

CC: i see the loading cursor in the moment the startup window appears and then nothing works (it stops loading for short but then it crashes)

what does initializing files mean? loading dreamweaver files (from adobe) or loading websites?
