error 145

Good day,

I today removed Photoshop (Mac version) via the uninstall app because there was a problem with opening a DNG file.

Now I want to reinstall Photoshop via the Creative Cloud app, but after 33% I get an error message with the text:

I used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner with the described actions and reinstalled Creative Cloud, but it didn't matter. The error message code 145 keeps coming back.

LRC,LR,Bridge and Camera RAW will be reinstalled in Creative Cloud.

But creative cloud still won't installPhotoshop. The error message just keeps coming back.

I removed the Recommended folder, the ProPhoto.icm file, too, didn't help and now everything but put it back.  

I've been working on it for almost a day now, but i can't do anything.

Do you have the solution?

remove the file

restart your computer

confirm file has been removed

reinstall ps

 

if that fails, using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

click contact us (in the lower right)
in the chat field, type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

Thank you for your response.
I've done everything you advise but nothing helps.
I applied the CC Uninstaller app, LogCollectorTool and the CloudCleanerTool.
The computer restarted and with CC installer the cc app reinstalled.
LrC and LR are simply added to CC but PS stops at 33%.
With the error code:

The ProPhoto.icm file is no longer on the computer and I also deleted the Recommended folder, but the error message keeps coming back.
Through Time Machine I have restored PS and the app works well but even then I cannot add PS to CC.
Your advice to start a Chat is not going to work for me because I do not know the English language enough. This message comes about with a translation app.
Are there any solutions available?

well, you didn't remove /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Recommended/ProPhoto.icm

 

the same file that you listed as being problematic in your original message is still being detected by the installer.

 

and as far as chat goes, you can use google translate and copy and paste text.  once the agent understands it's a 145 error and knows the problematic file and that you're unable to remove it, the adobe agent will probably take over your computer so they can delete that file.

 

you could also just clean everything adobe from your computer and restart the install process:


uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
check for, and if available, update your os
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
