Hi there,

I searched for answers for hours before writing this.
I tried all Adobe solutions, nothing worked.

This all happened because I wanted to move Photoshop from C: to E: the other day
I basically had 2 Photoshops on my PC then, one on each Hard Disk. I wanted to uninstall the one on C: but little did I know, that that wouldn't work. So then I removed PS completely, when I wanted to uninstall, it told me it couldn't because there was no Photoshop on my PC, I removed all files with Avast. Now i want to re-install it and it says this:

Exit Code: 146

Hi there,

I managed to fix it right after this post.

I use win 10 and I used a program called AOMEI Partition assistant to move the files.

Though my solution was to re-create the adobeTemp folder myself, since I didn't see it in C:

It then said the folder is already existing, I had to find out how to make invisible folder visible, then I found it.
I basically just re-created the folder and then it worked. 👍‍‍

Zafniak, what process did you use to move Photoshop CC from the C to the E drive?  What version of Windows is installed on the computer?  Is any other Adobe software installed on the device?

Thanks for the update, Zafinak.

For future viewers of this post, we recommend completing the process listed in https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html to uninstall the Adobe applications.  You can then adjust the install location within the Creative Cloud desktop app so the next installation will be in the desired location.

Zafniak, you may want to use this process if you encounter any other unexpected errors or issues.
