Hello, does anyone have the same problem? I can't update Lightroom Classic to version 13.0.1 since 2 days, there was no problem with Photoshop. I have reinstalled Creative Cloud, restarted Mac, it does not work. It always shows error code 107. (Lightroom Classic 13.0.1 / OS Ventura 13.6.1 )

Hi, thanks for the message. I did an update for Photoshop at the same time and there were no problems. Only with Lightroom. I did the following and it helped. I don't want to try what happens when I put it back.

1. Open the path /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs
2. then open the file "ServiceConfig.xml" with administrative rights
- Set the value "AppsPanel" to true to grant access to "Applications".
3. for the change to take effect, you must restart the Adobe service. Alternatively, y

for others considering fixing and/or reinstalling:

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, repair per https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.html

if that fails and you have windows, open your control panel > add/remove programs > cc desktop app > repair

if that fails, uninstall using the correct uninstaller from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

Hi,

I had a similar problem as you. I was trying to download Lightroom Classic from Creative Cloud, but it showed "Installation failed" with the message: "The download appears corrupted. Please try to download again. (Error Code 107)."

I tried the method you mentioned to change the ServiceConfig.xml file, but it didn't work. I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas. Thanks a lot!

did this fail?

Alternatively, your entire Mac (easier).

if that fails, repair per https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-install-stuck.html

if that fails and you have windows, open your control panel > add/remove programs > cc desktop app > repair

if that fails, do a clean cc install carefully following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials>
