I keep getting this error message when I try to install the trial version of Premier Pro onto my computer. I haven't been able to find ANY reference to this error code on the site. Any help would be appreciated!

Eleonore T. Malinowski I am sorry that you continue to face difficulties installing Premiere Pro CC 2017 on Windows.  The P204 error occurs when the installer is denied access to a critical file or directory.  You can find details on the error at Troubleshoot Adobe Creative Cloud download and install issues.

Did you implement all of the suggestions in the discussion referenced by Vidya in message #1 of this discussion?  If so then I don't have any additional suggestions but to create a new local

I think I found at least a part of the issue. That post wasn't helpful as

Adobe Cleaner never gave me any other option but clean. I wasn't able to

select anything as no program with menus actually opened. However, I

received the P204 error and then I received a 201 error code when I

attempted to install Creative Cloud. I was able to pull up a page for the

201 error code and I followed the file paths it lists at the top only to

discover my adobe file folder doesn't have an installers sub-folder.

Hi Etmalinowski44,

Sorry for that. Just for a test, please create a new Administrator account in the operating system, log into it & try the installation.

Thanks,

Vidya.

I'm not going to create a new administrator account on my computer because

your website and or software is not downloading install files. That's what

is missing from the download.

If you have not implemented the suggestions Error 204 when downloading Creative Cloud on Mac , then do you have any questions on how to assign proper file permissions to the current User account or configure the currently installed security software?

For information on how to create a new local administrator account see Adobe troubleshooting: Creating an admin account in Windows.
