Every few weeks, Photoshop randomly deletes/uninstalls from my computer

It happens completely at random; today I was using it for about two hours, closed it to let some files sync with my google drive for about an hour, and when I went to reopen it, it's completely removed off of my computer. I didn't restart the computer or anything; it's so confusing! I don't have this problem with Lightroom or Creative Cloud itself.

Any way to prevent this from happening? I know the program just updated about a week or two ago.

Thanks!

One scenario springs to mind:

Your Cloud desktop app may have upgraded you to Photoshop 2022 and the "Remove older versions" box in Cloud preferences was ticked so 2021 was removed.

Are you then perhaps using a shortcut to Photoshop 2021 and it's no longer there?
