Hmm the error description is not convincing or  confirming

You may refer help links posted above .

However, You may also try below steps along with it :

Step 1)

Restart the computer, so that it will ensure that no setup related processes is affecting the current installation process.

Step 2)

1) Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To Folder" option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.

/Tmp

It will open TMP folder.

Trash all the contents present inside Tmp folder , those are temporary files you can trash it.

Step 3)

Turn Off firewall , if it is enabled.

Step 4)

Relaunch Adobe Creative Cloud app  and try to install again.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Still same ??

Let me know whether you had installed any other Adobe apps? and are they working  fine?

We can also try setting permissions to Adobe folders under both User and System Libraries , Uninstalling and Clean Re-installation of Adobe Creative Cloud which is nothing but the App which manages the Installer ...etc

Normally this Installer file is downloaded to Tmp folder , Adobe Creative Cloud app which is an Application Manager which recognizes the downloaded Installer .DMG file and runs it to start installation after 42% .

Before 42% it simply downloads the installer file.

Hi ,

The steps I had provided is for complete removal of all Adobe apps , folders and files manually.

If you had already trashed folders I had mentioned , simply click on Clean All option once the Adobe Cleaner tool is launched.

If its still exhibit same behavior .  Skip the step and then re-install Adobe Creative Cloud app and check .
