File transfer behaviour

When adding an updated file to the Files section in CC it doesn't behave as expected. Instead of asking if I want to override the file with the same filename it automatically adds -2 to the filename, so now I'm forced to manually delete the one that I wanted to override the old file and re-name the file that I copied last so it matches the filenames on my local drive. Very tedious stuff.

Hi,

Normally you can open a file directly from your Creative cloud folder and all the changes will sync automatically .

Doesn't happen. If I open file directly from the CC and edit and save it, that doesn't take affect on the file that's stored in CC. Anyways, that's not my intention as I never ever trust any cloud service with my originals. Adobe has showed time and again that CC is way too unstable for that, and I don't trust them with my files in any case. CC is just for sharing copies, trusting them as a main storage source is madness. I would never do that of course. But no, changes made to files opened in CC does not save in CC.
