I would like to file a formal complaint, and this is the option I was given to do so. Not an email address or a phone number.. But a public community forum. I had purchased a Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Education Edition and got that verified for eligability. I received a redemption code and I redeamed that on an Adobe ID so when I got my school laptop I could then have it all ready. Well, I never ended up using the one I bought as the laptop I was gifted already had a version of photoshop on it. I got a new laptop now, so I wanted to use my UNUSED Photoshop CS6 on here.. But when I enter the redemption code it won't let me obtain a serial number because it recognizes its on a differennt adobe ID. The issue with that is that I do not remember the email / adobe ID I had back when this was purchased. I have my redemption code and product id, is there not a way to trace which adobe id these are linked to as I would like to use my UNUSED and paid for version of Photoshop CS6. Can someone please assist me?? Ive had the worst customer experience ever with this....

these are user- to- user forums so no one here can track down anything on your behalf.

what about the laptop that has ps on it?  (though unless there was an adobe license transfer, that wasn't legal for you to use).

if you still have access we can help you recover that serial number.

A redemption code may be used ONCE to be given a serial number... it is then up to you to safeguard your serial number

Support lasted 5 years from release. So you are at least 6 years too late. Also, since the serial number is what you paid for, it was YOUR job to remember it. ("I forgot where I parked my car. Can I have a new one?")  Personally,  I would be happy that Adobe did not pick up on the "Photoshop gifted" problem - did both you and the person gifting it both complete a transfer of software (which ABSOLUTELY MUST NOT have been an academic version)? If not, you've had many years of use outside the terms of the license.
