contact adobe support.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer

There was nowhere on my account that gave me an option to cancel my free trial. In fact, it said there was no trial in operation. This was confirmed by the chatline agent, but I have a transcript of the conversation, and a case number, so if Adobe start charging I will have all this to back up my claim.

I was charged for 9 months for a subscription to Acrobat Pro because I didn't know I had to cancel, but I got it refunded because I told them it was illegal in the UK to use this process. I notice that they are being taken to court about it:-
