Deactivation of software does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Be aware that
- deactivating a computer does not cancel a subscription
- uninstalling apps does not cancel a subscription
Only specifically cancelling will work. Then, because you have agreed to paid for a year, there is a penalty unless you cancel in the 12th month. This is generously reduced by 50% - you pay only half of what you committed. After the 12th month it renews automatically, and the process starts again for a year. Don't be even a day late.
