Having battled with activation failures on both CC and Acrobat DC (which are paid for on two separate monthly subscriptions) - the support line has finally confirmed that you do not in fact have two activations for each piece of software you subscribe to, you only have two overall. That means if you subscribe to 3 or 4 or 5 different adobe products, paid separately, you still only have two activations for the whole lot! So, if you want to use CC to edit your photos at home and maybe Acrobat at work, you needn't bother trying to view your photos on your laptop at the same time. Apparently, it is all tied to your email address and not listed as separate items. To get round it, you can set up another account and use another email address - but that's a faff and they don't tell you that when you sign up either do they! It means you don't get what you pay for either.
It's like having 3 different bank accounts with the same bank, one for checking, one for saving and one for something else, but the bank just decides they're all the same and mixes them up however they want to.

i don't have any problem using my one cc subscription on 3 different computers. i just have to sign out from one when i try to use cc on the 3rd. it couldn't be easier (imo) because when starting on the third, i'm given the option to sign out from either of the other two. it's quick easy and painless for anyone use cc legally.
