Help! Just setup my new iMac, cannot install any Creative Cloud [was Suite] apps

(Mojave 10.14.3) iMac Mid-2017 - 32 Gigs RAM

Trying to start with downloading the Creative Cloud (was Suite) desktop app, but getting the    "app is damaged and can’t be opened. You should eject the disk image."
Tried getting Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects etc, getting the SAME error message. Security & Privacy settings will not allow for "any" developers.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! ctf

'Creative Suite' apps have not been tested by Adobe and are not officially supported on 'Mojave'.


There are workarounds, but they do involve fiddling with your Mac's Security & Privacy settings:

Well, this is a brand new (2017) iMac, with no previous Adobe programs. This all started when I simply logged into my Adobe account and tried to download the apps. Cannot figure this out..

You say Creative Suite. I suspect you might mean Creative Cloud. Which is it? If it is Creative Suite, what version is it?

True, I meant the Creative Cloud, the latest version. I was running about 8 programs on the last computer. I updated to Mojave 10.14.3 right before the file transfer to the new iMac. I cannot get the security setting to allow "All" developers, so it seems it will not allow the downloading of the Adobe products..

Are you able to follow these steps - security-wise?
» How to fix “Application” is damaged and can’t be opened error in macOS Mojave and High Sierra

Prior to Mojave, you were able to allow apps downloaded from "Anywhere", "App Store" and "App Store and identified developers". Now in Mojave, the "Anywhere" option got removed, but you can re-enable it as explained above. This is likely why you were able to run Adobe's apps on your older computer, because you already had the apps installed.

All Creative Cloud apps should work fine under Mojave, but you may experience some issues as outlined in this Help article:
