I've had a horrible experience with Adobe so far, like most other users of their software.
The Adobe creative cloud logs me out regularly. Sometimes every five minutes, sometime it's logged in for a couple of hours. I have a stable internet connection, that is not the issue.
My fonts are constantly de-activated and cannot be re-activated. This means that each time I close a project, I have to go into manage my fonts, disable all the fonts that I'm using. Then I have to open the project again and MANUALLY replace every font that is has now changed to a default font.
Sometimes the applications will complain that it cannot authenticate it and refuse to open. I can have Illustrator open and be logged into creative cloud but Photoshop refuses to open. This means that sometimes I cannot use the programs I payed for for several days.
Support is horrible like all of you know. They've told me to disable GPU rendering in Photoshop when the application refuses to open, it's a waste of time.
I am using different connections, all of them over 100/100mbit and they're all stable.
This has happened regularly since I bought their software a couple of months ago. Almost every time I want to use their software I have to spend hours troubleshooting to get it to work. Why am I having there issues regardless of what internet connection I'm using?
WHY AM I BEING PUNISHED FOR PAYING FOR YOUR SOFTWARE? If I would illegally download it, I would have none of these issues. You could just withdraw the funds from my account and spit in my face instead of me having to waste hours each week trying to get your software to work.

"like most other users of their software" is a bold statement. Adobe would be out of business by now if that would be the case.
Could you please state the OS and version your working on? While I too, I experience from time to time some of your tribulations, I fund out that some of them are due because of strange user profile problems, to formulate this very carefully. One of our problems (CC software not showing updates) went away by re-configuring the computer from scratch. Others can be solved by creating a new user profile. Some are due to bugs in the software.

Again a bold statement. Ask the Photoshop forum. That's why there are these fora. Disabling the GPU is indeed a good advice for many troubles, but you need at least to be able to run Photoshop. First solution is to update device drivers. Second to trash preferences. (Preferences in Photoshop )Third to disable plug-ins.
Photoshop lags, freezes, or runs slowly
If I would illegally download it, I would have none of these issues.
This however is your boldest statement of today. I would bet that besides that it is illegal, you would be infested with all kind of backdoors, vira etc. Good luck on solving your problems then.

I am on Windows 10 ver. 1803.
I have updated drivers, I have already trashed preferences, I have no plug-ins installed.
This is still a problem with Adobes authentication system and or servers.
Are you honestly telling me that Adobes support is good? Do you think having to chat with a support center in India with zero technical knowledge is good support? Have you read other peoples experience? They do not even understand me when I'm saying that this is an authentication issue.
If I would illegally download it I would at least be able to run the software which is a huge upgrade from my current experience. I could run the software sandboxed, I'm less afraid of viruses than wasting countless hours trying to make their DRM let me use the software I payed for.
I have 10 months left on my subscription and most likely will never be able to use their software during this period. I have already wasted TWO MONTHS not having usable software.
Today Adobe Creative Cloud has logged me out 5 times while I'm working in Illustrator and has reset the fonts each time. I am on EDUROAM university internet. My guess is this has to do with a limits on users per IP or a similar anti-consumer reason.
My point is, they're punishing their paying costumers while people who do not pay for their software don't have these issues. I met a friend today who funnily enough had the exact same experience, he told me he had to go back and forth with support for a week to actually get the software to work.
I'm glad that you're getting the software you payed for to work! I hope you think it's time well spent defending a billion dollar corporation. I hope you get a discount.
Thanks for shilling for Adobe!
Edit: It even logged me out while writing this and one time after so now I've had to re-login 7 times during 4 hours of work.
