How do I transfer of lifetime license

I have an adobe lifetime license I purchased a few years ago on my old computer. Now I bought a new one and I want to transfer my license over. How do I do it?

if cs2, cs3 or cs4, you cannot activate (and therefore use) beyond the 30 day trial period.

otherwise, you should deactivate (help>deactivate) on your old computer IF you have your serial number secured.

then install (with the original installation file) and activate (with your serial number) in your new computer.

if you don't have the installation file or serial number, it's possible they may be recoverable.

There is no CC 2018 (or any CC) lifetime license.  And there is no serial number.

You download the CC App and install from there:

do you have an enterprise or team subscription?

if yes, and that's a current subscription you can use current cc apps and past ones. if you do not have current subscription, you cannot use any cc app.

do you have a current subscription AND do you want a current or a past cc version?

CC is sold as a subscription, not a perpetual license. Do you pay Adobe monthly/yearly for this software?

1. No such thing as Lifetime license.  Every Adobe product has an End of Life date after which it cannot be activated.

2. Which product did you buy a license for?  Can your new computer support legacy 32-bit installers?

Assuming you have a supporting device & OS, insert the installation disks you received at purchase into your optical reader.  Run the installer.  At the prompt, enter a valid serial number that came with your product. 

It's not possible to copy software from old machines to new ones.  The Installation Routine is necessary to make changes to your computer's system files.
