If you have updated to Windows 10 or 11 and cannot install your old Adobe Photoshop CS6, you can configure the installation for the installation program to work with older versions of Windows. Do a right click on the "Set-up.exe" installation file and check on "Properties" -> "Compatibility" and under "Compatibility Mode" click on "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose in the down-menu "Windows 8". Apply your settings and exit. Go back to the .exe file and do a right click again and choose "Run as an Administrator." That's all, try to install again and using your license number. You may need to have an Adobe account to validate the product; perhaps you may also have to install the program "Creative Cloud" at Adobe.com <Removed by Moderator>

p.s. unless you have a current subscription to something, do not install cc (ie, the cc desktop app or your cs6 license will be a subscription that will end if, and when, your subscription ends, not the perpetual license you originally purchased).
