Hello
I got a new PC and my CS3 is connected to the old one.
How can I release the product codes so I can install it on the new PC?
Thank you for some instructions
Grantler
Hi
Activation servers for CS3 have been shut down, you will need to follow this link
Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8
And take a look at "What are my options" bit

Hi Ged Traynor
Thank you very much.
I can see that will work for CS3
Entering my code for Acrobat 9 pro that was a part of the CS i brings me to the download of Acrobat 8
Is the Acrobat 9 code still valid?
(I just see the disc with Acrobat 9 says: CS 3.3 with Acrobat 9 pro upgrade installer)
Tried to find the right link to Acrobat 9 pro searching on the side you linked i your answer. But I can not find it
May I ask you for that link s well?
Reading in "What are my options?" tells me there is no activation required. Does that mean I can just install it without any activation because the programs are that old?
Thanks again for using your time once more on my problems

Not exactly. You still need to have a valid license to use the program. The valid license is not anymore checked at installation time, as the activation servers are down.
...and there is no garanee that the software will continue to work as designed. Be prepared that one day an update of the OS makes the program fail.

Thank you Alambo
So I am prepared for that day, maybe I can use the program without updates.
As private user I do not need to be up to date with the newest updates
And when it goes down I can decide to take the Creative Cloud offer.
Thank you very much

No!
First: Security updates need to be applied.
Second: Your new PC is probably a Windows 10 OS and with windows 10 you can not stop Windows from updating.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
