Are you absolutely certain you had a free 7-day trial and not a paid membership? I ask because there is no obligation to pay with the 7-day trial. It automatically expires and the software stops working.

If you cancel the first 14 days of your subscription, you get a refund. But as Nancy said, the 7 days trial expires simply.
