I bought my Lighroom3 long time ago. Need to install it on my new MAC but it doesn't have CD drive.
what should I do?
Behzad, you will need to purchase an external optical drive, if you want to use your CD on your new computer. Lightroom 3 is not available for download, so make sure to pick a drive that is compatible with your new computer. If your Mac is too new, then it will not run Lightroom 3. What type of Mac did you purchase, Behazad? Is the Mac new from the factory or new to you? ^JW
yes, your os would need to support 32bit apps and no recent mac os'es do that.
If your operating system is Catalina or later then buying an external drive won't help you. The software will not install.
A 2021 Mac is probably running Monterey, Ventura, Sonoma or Sequoia. Lightroom 3 cannot be installed on those.

Cannot be done due to changes made by Apple to their macOS operating system several years ago.
You'll have to subscribe to one of the Photography Plans and use Lightroom Classic (the successor to what was known back in 2010 as Lightroom 3)
