I have Adobe Photoshop CS, an old program. I had to wipe out my computer and start again and when I re-install the program, I can't register my copy. Hope care I do that?

you would need a compatible os to install, but even then, you can no longer activate photoshop cs and therefore cannot (easily) use beyond the 30 day trial period.

CS2 (and earlier) Activation Server is gone, so read below

You MUST use the special version and serial number on the page, not your original disc or serial number

NOTE that CS2 will not install at all on a "modern" Mac, and when you install the special version of PPro2 on a Win7 or Win8 or Win10 computer, you MAY need to right click the program icon and select WinXP compatibility from the option popup

Hi

Did you ever sort this out? I'm in the same situation, I have an old photoshop CS - I upgraded my PC and now cant install it. I don't want to buy an ongoing adobe subscription for the latest photoshop, I was happy with the old one, which was a one off charge for the liscence, but now can't use....
